Stitch Markers

img_7689These ring style markers were the kind I have been using for years and were the largest reason that I hated using markers. They are pain in the bum to use.img_7688I don’t know what brand these particular circular markers are because I have had them since forever.img_7691 But recently, Monkey bought me a new set of stitch markers and I am loving them. They are made by the Clover brand. Over all, I have really liked the Clover line of products.

These are really easy to use. They work just like a safety pin. The end that you slide through the stitch is dull so it is unlikely that you’ll split the stitch. They are fairly large which makes them easy to manipulate.

Using stitch counters is nice when I am working on a large project that will take days, weeks or even months to complete and there is just no possible way I can keep count in my head 😛

I don’t tend to use them when I am making monsters from my head, but when I’m making patterned blankets like the coy blanket it is essential. If you are looking for a good stitch marker, I recommend these.
